Community Enhancement Programme 2019 and CEP Men's & Women's Sheds

Michael Ring,TD, Minister for Rural and Community Development, announced on the 27th March, the 2019 Community Enhancement Programme (CEP). This will provide €4.5 million of grant funding towards enhancing the facilities  available to communities. Fingal County Council's allocation is €150,000. 

Additional funding of €0.5m was also allocated nationally to the Community Enhancement Programme.  This funding is ring-fenced for small capital grants for Men's & Women's Sheds.  Fingal County Council is to receive €13,089.00.

The 2019 CEP Men's and Women's Shed funding is open to all sheds affiliated to the Irish Association of Men's Sheds

CEP - Community Enhancement Programme 2019

The Community Enahancement Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development. It provides funding to communities to enhance facilities in areas of disadvantage. LCDC's are responsible for allocating funding to projects in their area as they are ideally placed to identify suitable local projects. Fingal County Council will receive €150,000.
