For 6-8 year olds. Fred Freeman combines story-telling with lively traditional music in an interactive workshop featuring singing, tapping-out rhythms and listening. The workshop explore the many shared traditions between Ireland and Scotland - historically, literarily and musically. Fred is Visiting Professor of Scots Language and Scottish Music at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is author of a book on the 18th-century Edinburgh poet, Robert Fergusson and a children’s book on the Paisley poet, Robert Tannahill (2009).
