Pay and Display
We have Pay and Display in the following areas: Malahide, Skerries, Balbriggan, Swords, Rush and Clonsilla.

Upload supporting documentation: drivers licence, utility bill/rent book and Car Insurance Certificate (not disc)
You must live in a Pay & Display zone to apply for a resident’s permit/visitors discs. A permit is €20 for 2 years.
You can also apply for a change of vehicle (upload new Insurance Cert), however, you must return your old permit to: Permits Section, 64 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
Hours of Operation
Pay & Display operates from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive. However, this can vary for particular areas, check the signage at your location.
Charges for Parking
Charges can vary for different areas for both on-street and car parks. However, the charge is usually €1 per hour or €3 per day in the long-term parking areas.
If you live in a Pay & Display Zone you can buy a visitor disc. These discs entitle the holder to park for one full day, and can be bought at at cost of €12 for 10 discs. (Max.50 discs per resident per year).
Special Parking Permits
Businesses in a Pay & Display area can apply for a special parking permit for an annual charge of €600.
Parking and Traffic Enforcement
Traffic Wardens ticket illegally parked vehicles in a Pay and Display area. It is your responsibility to ensure that a valid parking ticket/permit/disc is displayed and clearly visible on your vehicle.
