Water Supply Information Friday 27th November 09.30
Rush Area: Water will be off to St. Maur’s and Kenure Park in Rush while repairs are carried out on a leaking hydrant in the area.
It is expected that repairs will be completed & supply returned by 2.00pm.

Station Road, Portmarnock Watermain Rehabilitation
A planned programme of water main rehabilitation work will take place on Station Road, Portmarnock from Tuesday 10th November 2015 until Friday 18th December 2015.
Unfortunately, there will be water outages due to this essential work and updates will issue as soon as information is available.
There will also be traffic management in operation with delays expected, however the contractor will endeavour to minimise any disruption.
We apologise to those who will be affected while these works are going on.
Balkill Road, Howth - Drainage Replacement Scheme Works November 2015 - January 2016
A planned programme of sewer replacement works will take place on Balkill Road, Howth from Monday 16th November and will be completed in January 2016. These works are required to upgrade the existing foul sewage infrastructure to ensure the long term sustainability of the sewer network in the area.
Traffic disruption will be kept to a minimum, however, parking facilities will be suspended along Balkill Road at various locations and times during the course of the works and occasional temporary local diversions will be in place.
We will endeavour to keep all accesses open with only short periods of disruption where entrances will be crossed during these works. Traffic management will be localised and signposted in advance as far as possible.

Swords - Oldtown Mooretown Drainage Scheme
Sewer survey works will be carried out in the Swords area over the coming weeks as part of a feasibility study for Oldtown Mooretown Drainage Scheme ( Oldtown Mooretown sewer survey map).
This work commenced on Monday 27th July 2015 and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2015.
The work will involve locating manholes, sewer inspection surveys and cleaning of existing sewers. Due to the location of some manholes traffic management will be required and some traffic disruption may occur. The contractor will endeavour to keep any disruption to a minimum.
Swords Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade - Update 31st August 2015
The expansion of the Swords wastewater treatment plant commenced in April 2013 and is currently programmed to be complete in mid 2016. The expansion works are being undertaken by Irish Water in association with Fingal County Council. The Contractor carrying out the work is Aecom SIAC.
This expansion will increase the capacity of the plant from 60,000 to 90,000 population equivalent and will cater for the growing population and future development of Swords and its immediate environs. This phase of the expansion will also improve the quality of the treated effluent being discharged to the Broadmeadow Estuary, a Special Area of Conservation and a Special Protection Area.
The remaining works currently to be completed include, installation of mechanical equipment into the various buildings constructed, followed by a period of commissioning, testing and proving of the new works. In tandem with this, all roads, walls and landscaping affected will be reinstated.
