Ceadaíonn CFPÁ Fhine Gall cistiú do ghrúpaí pobail agus deonacha ar fud an réigiúin
Cheadaigh Coiste Forbartha Pobail Áitiúil (CFPÁ) Fhine Gall an leithdháileadh breis agus €152,000 ar ghrúpaí pobail agus deonacha ar fud an réigiúin faoin Clár um Fheabhsú an Phobail 2021.
Cheadaigh Coiste Forbartha Pobail Áitiúil (CFPÁ) Fhine Gall an leithdháileadh breis agus €152,000 ar ghrúpaí pobail agus deonacha ar fud an réigiúin faoin Clár um Fheabhsú an Phobail 2021. Cistíonn an Roinn Forbartha Tuaithe agus Pobail an Clár um Fheabhsú an Phobail (an CFP) agus sheol an tAire Forbartha Tuaithe agus Pobail, Heather Humphreys, TD, agus an tAire Stáit ar a bhfuil freagracht as Forbairt Pobail agus Carthanas, Joe O’Brien, TD, é go náisiúnta i mBealtaine.
Íocfar 81 deontas, ar an iomlán, le grúpaí ar fud an réigiúin faoi Scéim 2021. Tá mar aidhm ag an scéim:
- tacú le grúpaí áitiúla a n-áiseanna a athoscailt i ndiaidh COVID-19
- deontais bheaga a sholáthar do dheisiúcháin agus d’athchóiriú a dhéanamh ar áiseanna, do threalamh nua agus d’uasghráduithe sábháilteachta
- díriú ar chistiú a sholáthar i gceantair faoi mhíbhuntáiste
Cuirtear cur chuige solúbtha agus spriocdhírithe ar fáil sa CFP i leith na bpobal siúd is mó atá i ngátar a chistiú agus tá sé dírithe ar dhul i ngleic le míbhuntáiste, faoi mar a sainaithníodh i bPlean Áitiúil Eacnamaíochta agus Pobail Fhine Gall agus ar thacú, ag an tráth seo, le grúpaí pobail agus deonacha áitiúla íoc as costais athoscailte mar thoradh ar COVID 19.
Chuir Méara Fhine Gall, an Comh. Seána Ó Rodaigh, fáilte roimh na deontais a ceadaíodh agus dúirt se, “Tacaíonn an Clár um Fheabhsú an Phobail le réimse infheistíochta i ngach limistéar den phobal, grúpaí cúraim leanaí, grúpaí caitheamh aimsire, faichí spóirt, seirbhísí tacaíochta, agus daoine aosta san áireamh, i measc go leor rudaí eile. Cabhróidh an cistiú seo le go leor grúpaí agus cumann tosú ag feidhmiú arís agus cuirtear an-fháilte roimhe inár bpobail.”
Dúirt AnnMarie Farrelly, Príomhfheidhmeannach Chomhairle Contae Fhine Gall, “Cuirim fáilte roimh an gcistiú seo a bheith ceadaithe ag an CFPÁ a chabhróidh go mór le grúpaí pobail chun tabhairt faoina dtionscadail agus a dtionscadail a atosú in go leor cásanna. Aithníonn an leibhéal cistithe atá ar fáil an ról tábhachtach a ghlacann grúpaí pobail agus deonacha chun dul i ngleic le míbhuntáiste inár bpobail.”
Dúirt Emer O’Gorman, Stiúrthóir Seirbhísí i Roinn Forbartha Geilleagraí, Fiontar, Turasóireachta agus Cultúrtha na Comhairle: “Foinse iontach cistithe é Scéim an CFP do Ghrúpaí Pobail agus Deonacha agus cuireann sé go mór le go leor de na tionscnaimh chistithe agus thacaíochta atá ar fáil trí Chomhairle Contae Fhine Gall. Baineann ríthábhacht le hearnáil bheoga phobail agus dheonach le téarnamh Covid 19 agus cabhróidh an scéim seo le go leor daoine san earnáil filleadh ar an rud is fearr a dhéanann siad.”
Dúirt Declan Ryan, Príomhoifigeach CFPÁ Fhine Gall, “Tá an dealramh air go bhfuil an-tóir ar scéimeanna an CFP arís eile i mbliana agus rinne an CFPÁ gach iarracht chun tacú lena mhéid tionscadal agus grúpaí agus ab fhéidir, go háirithe iad siúd ar imir srianta Covid 19 tionchar diúltach orthu. Caitear súil mhuiníneach chun cinn sa CFPÁ chun tacaíocht níos mó a thabhairt do ghrúpaí pobail agus deonacha amach anseo.”
