Innovative Fingal County Council projects shortlisted for eGovernment awards

Fingal County Council has been shortlisted for four Ireland eGovernment Awards which recognise organisations that are pioneering changes and helping deliver better online services.

The awards, organised in association with eir Business and Cisco, are Ireland’s most sought-after accolade in eGovernment, honouring the leaders driving digital services, communication and democracy online.

The competition is open to public sector departments, local authorities and state agencies as well as private sector companies who partner with the public sector on eGovernment projects. 

Fingal County Council has been nominated in four categories:

• Wayfinding Accessibility Initiative was shortlisted in both the Universal Design and Local Government Award category
• Our Balbriggan Socio-Economic Strategy Public Consultation was shortlisted in the Local Government Award category
• Smart Street Furniture Pilot was shortlisted in the Innovation Award category
• PRTB Inspections System was shortlisted in the Mobile Award category

 The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on September 11, 2019 in City Hall.
