Irish Water is progressing with watermain improvement works in Skerries
Irish Water, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, is progressing with new connections to the existing watermains that feeds Skerries in order to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in the area.
While works are ongoing customers in R127 Balbriggan Road, Kelly’s Bay, Northcliffe Heights, Mourne Close, Selskar Avenue, Millhill Park, Greenlawns, Newtown Parks, The Hoar Rock, Harbour Road, New Street, Church Street, Millers Lane, Shenick Avenue, Golf Links Road and R128 will experience water outages from 8:00pm on Monday 6 July until 8:00am on Tuesday 7 July.

A number of properties will be impacted by further water outages on Wednesday 8, Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July from 10:00am until 4:00pm daily. These properties will be contacted directly by Irish Water.
While these essential works are ongoing a vehicle management system will be in place in Skerries town. Following these improvement works water supply may take 2-3 hours to return as water refills the network.

Irish Water is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Irish Water would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
