(24 September 2020) Irish Water working in partnership with Fingal County Council is progressing with works at Seamount reservoir as part of the Malahide water supply scheme in order to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Malahide and surrounding areas.

Works at Seamount reservoir in Malahide will result in disruption to supply on Tuesday 29 September between 9am and 5pm. Customers in the areas encompassed by Malahide Marina and Robswall to the coast road as well as Blackwood Lane to Broomfield and surrounding areas may be impacted by water outages during this time. Once the works are completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return to all impacted properties as water refills the network.

Irish Water is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Irish Water would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
