Temporary Road Closure of Balscadden Road Howth extended until Monday 22nd May 2023
An application has been received from the Operations Department, Fingal County Council, for permission to extend the temporary closure of Balscadden Road, Howth, Co. Dublin. Initially the road was to be closed from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Tuesday 2nd May 2023 to Friday 19th May 2023 to facilitate road maintenance work being carried out on behalf of Fingal County Council.
Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control regarding the delay with materials and supply, the closure needs to be extended. The closure will now be extended to 5.00pm on Monday 22nd May 2023.
The alternative routes available for traffic during the proposed closure hours are as follows:

Local access for residents of Balscadden Road will be provided over the period of the closure with pedestrian access maintained over the duration.
