Swords Women's Shed

Swords Women's Shed is a community group based in Swords, which meets three times per week and facilitates craft sessions and information evenings. Throughout the summer and Autumn Swords Women's Shed hosted craft sessions. One of the craft projects involved creating a ‘fairy garden’ in the Broadmeadow Community Garden. Participants felt great pride in seeing their painting and decorating enhancing this wonderful community resource. Taking part in this project gave everybody a shared sense of purpose and was a fun and sociable experience. Swords Women's Shed has gone from strength to strength over the past 18 months and the popular craft sessions have played a big part in this success
