**the Kilmartin Grove affordable housing scheme closed for applications on August 9th. Assessment of submitted applications is still ongoing.
Fingal County Council has agreed with Glenveagh to deliver 36 affordable homes in Kilmartin Grove, Dublin 15. The scheme will comprise of the following:
- 22 no. 2-bed mid-terrace units
- 14 no. 3-bed mid-terrace units

These homes will be available at a reduced price for buyers who are seeking to purchase a newly built home but need to bridge the gap between their mortgage and deposit to cover the full price of the home.
In order to be eligible to apply for the scheme at Kilmartin Grove, applicants must satisfy the below criteria;
- Be a first-time buyer or meet the exceptions under the Fresh Start Principle, or own a dwelling which, because of its size, is not suited to the current accommodation needs of the applicant’s household.
- To apply for a 2-bedroom property, gross household income for the preceding 12 months should be below € 87,638. *Some exceptions apply
- To apply for a 3-bedroom property, gross household income for the preceding 12 months should be below € 94,050. *Some exceptions apply
- Each person included in the application must have the right to reside indefinitely in the State.
- The affordable home must be the household’s normal place of residence.
