This year we introduced a new award to our list. Fingal’s Greenest School award was given to the school that was most active in implementing initiatives to promote Climate Action. We marked schools on their involvement in the Green Flag Award, cycling and walking buses, and Fresh Air Fridays. Our inaugural winner was Balbriggan Educate Together National School.

This recognition reaffirms their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By leading through example, I hope it inspires other schools to be more environmentally friendly."

The winner of our Best Overall school was St Patrick’s NS, Diswellstown. To present them with the award, we had Noel Guinan, Meet Director of Morton Games. This year’s winner is being invited to the Morton Games on 12th July. For further details visit: https://www.mortongames.ie.
