Affordable Housing Scheme - Online Application Tutorial

Fifty-seven affordable homes in Wilkinsons Brook, Hollystown, Dublin 15 are being made available for sale by the Land Development Agency, in partnership with Fingal County Council. 

Applications will be accepted via an online application portal. Applications can be made starting from 12noon on 28th May 2024.

The Affordable Housing Development in Wilkinsons Brook will comprise of the following houses:

  • 13 no. two-bedroom houses
  • 39 no. three-bedroom houses
  • 5 no. four-bedroom houses

These homes will be available at a reduced price for buyers who are seeking to purchase a newly built home but need to bridge the gap between their mortgage and deposit to cover the full price of the home.

It should be noted that the Minimum Sale Price advertised is already a reduction from the Open Market Value of the home.  Those interested in purchasing a home in this Scheme must be able to demonstrate that they can afford to pay the Minimum Sale Price set.

Am I eligible for this Scheme?

In order to be eligible to apply for the scheme at Wilkinsons Brook, applicants must satisfy the below criteria; 

  • Be a first-time buyer or meet the exceptions under the Fresh Start Principle, or own a dwelling which, because of its size, is not suited to the current accommodation needs of the applicant’s household.
  • To apply for a 2-bedroom property, gross household income for the preceding 12 months should be below €97,256. *Some exceptions apply 
  • To apply for a 3-bedroom property, gross household income for the preceding 12 months should be below €99,393. *Some exceptions apply   
  • To apply for a 4-bedroom property, gross household income for the preceding 12 months should be below €106,768. *Some exceptions apply
  • Each person included in the application must have the right to reside indefinitely in the State.  
  • The affordable home must be the household’s normal place of residence.
