Fingal County Council has welcomed the allocation of €200,000 towards the Fingal Coastal Way, a 32km high-quality recreational walking and cycling route stretching from Newbridge Demesne in Donabate to the county boundary, north of Balbriggan.

Fingal County Council and the Fingal Local Community Development Committee are pleased to announce details of the 2020 Community Enhancement Programme (CEP).

Fingal County Council is delighted to announce the addition of a number of electrical vehicles to its fleet. The vehicles representing an investment of  €340,000 were launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Eoghan O'Brien at Ardgillan Castle today.

Mayor of Fingal Cllr Eoghan O’Brien has officially opened the new €2.5m Baldoyle to Portmarnock walking and cycling greenway project, a vital first phase of the overall Sutton to Malahide Greenway Scheme.

The upgrade of the Rathbeale Road in Swords has been officially opened by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Eoghan O’Brien.The road, which is part of the R125 Swords to Ashbourne route, has been reopened to traffic since March 20 but, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the planned official opening could not take place. Instead, a simple ceremony to unveil a commemorative stone, was held.

The Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Eoghan O’Brien, has officially opened the Donabate Distributor Road which was the first project under Rebuilding Ireland’s Local Infrastructure Housing Activation Fund (LIHAF) to reach construction stage.

Fingal County Council will immediately commence preparations for the construction of the Broadmeadow Greenway after An Bord Pleanála granted planning permission for the €12m project.
