The Art of Poetry - Rhyming & Rapping with writer Maeve Devoy

There is nothing like the beauty of a poem or a piece of music that captures a moment and freezes it for life. In this lively workshop, Maeve will dissect some of the greatest poems and verses, explaining the different techniques used. She will detail the process of pacing and timing, so children will be able to master the art of rhyming and rapping, before writing their very their own poems or verses. *If the children have any percussion instruments, it would be wonderful if they could bring them along! Suitable for ages 7 - 12 years old.
