If your water supply is from a private source, i.e; borehole or river, and supplies over 50 persons on average, or has a commercial or public interest this is a deemed a Private Regulated Water Supply.

Private Water Suppliers are required to produce water that is wholesome and clean and meets the requirements of these 2014 Drinking Water Regulations.

Fingal County Council is the supervisory authority for Private Regulated Water Supplies in the Fingal County Council Area and has responsibility for ensuring that Private Regulated Water Suppliers fulfil their duties as specified in the regulations.

All Private Regulated Water Supplies must be registered with Fingal County Council County Council. This can be done by downloading the attached form and returning it by email to  [email protected]  or post to;
