Cuidiú Parent Support

Cuidiú aims to bring parents, primarily those without local family and support structures, together by organising activities for families to get to know others in their community. Through meeting and sharing common, creative interests, parents will build a support structure for their families and learn from those living here longer how our Irish government systems operate and what amenities are available in the area. The big event will be a Teddy Bears Picnic - a fun day out for the whole family with face painting, light refreshments, icecream and music. Cuidiú's Swords branch will run a series of project-based sewing events for beginners. In Balbriggan, there is a need for activities for parents of children aged 0-4, so Cuidiú will run a weekly arts and crafts group there.
