Personal essays are everywhere, from the New York Times to Sunday Miscellany, and the good news is that anybody can write one! In this three-hour session, we will go from generating ideas, to outlining an essay, to covering the conventions and clichés of essay writing, and finally discussing publication opportunities in Ireland and abroad.
