Legendary Moving Hearts on way to Naul

Moving Hearts was formed in early 1981 and ceased regular touring in 1984. Despite many changes in personnel, the band recorded four critically acclaimed albums; many bands including The Pogues have acknowledged the influence of ‘The Hearts’.

"Unfinished business!" was the reply given when asked why Moving Hearts were reforming in February 2007, "when we last played it was as an instrumental band and we always felt we hadn't finished exploring the possibilities of our unique line-up".

Many people were happy to see The Hearts back together and came in their thousands to Dublin's Vicar Street for a week of shows. Since then, every few years The Hearts put aside a period of time and do a number of performances around the world. 2019 sees gigs in Ireland, UK and Spain.

This SEAC show is a special “Almost Unplugged and Up-close & Personal” view of the band as it has never been seen before.

An intimate setting for this powerful band with a line-up of many of Ireland’s finest musicians including: Donal Lunny, Davy Spillane, Eoghan O'Neill, Keith Donald, Noel Eccles, Anto Drennan, Graham Henderson, Liam Bradley and a number of special guests.
