As part of the Winter Solstice celebrations, The Hyde Project is excited and delighted to invite, Sound Artist, Fergus Kelly to perform at The Hide Sculpture.

This Sunday 22nd December 2019 11.00am - 11.30 am.

'Sounding Out The Territory'

Fergus Kelly will perform a short ritual sonic action on the winter solstice involving hand-held metals, whirled and flame-driven instruments to mark the transition to longer daylight hours.
Fergus Kelly is an internationally recognised artist from Dublin working with field recording, soundscape composition, invented instruments, improvisation, photography, painting and drawing.
His recorded work is available via his CDR label and website, http://www.roomtemperature.org and also via Farpoint Recordings, Stolen Mirror, Unfathomless & Confront.
Recent releases include the critically acclaimed albums, Local Knowledge (2017), Trembling Embers (2018) and Gleaming Seams (2019).

This is a Fingal County Council Arts Office initiative.
