Rahillion Windmill, Donabate

Commonly called Carr’s Mill after an 18th century tenant farmer, the remains of McAllister’s windmill, as it is also known, overlook the estuary at the north end of the peninsula at Rahillion. The words ‘love God above all’ are cut into a stone of the windmill and dated 1741.
