1. Park Features

The park features option can include a water font, tree planting, bulb planting, benches etc.

2. Agility Trail

An agility trail can be implemented in any open space. It uses equipment and natural play features such as mounds and rocks. These are usually located along main routes in parks to allow children to ‘play along the way’ which is part of Fingals play policy.

The trail would be located on grass with some bark surfacing where necessary. It would run between the central and perimeter paths. An example of similar equipment can be seen in Hartstown park although the layout would be different and more focused on natural features.

3. Calisthenics and Exercise Equipment

The calisthenics gym proposed can range in size from 10m x 10m or 10m x 7m. A calisthenics gym will have wheelchair accessible pieces and some resistance equipment. The surfacing will be bound rubber. The nearest examples of different sizes are Hazelbury park (10m x 7m) and Damastown (Hopkins) park (10m x 7m).
