Balbriggan connection works to be completed tomorrow

There will be one more disruption to water supply in Balbriggan tomorrow morning to facilitate the completion of works to upgrade the main supply from Jordanstown to Balbriggan.

The new watermain from Jordanstown to Balbriggan was connected today and is now in operation. Water has been restored to all areas and no further outage is planned today. 

A final associated connection cannot be completed today due to on-site complications but will be completed tomorrow, Thursday, April 9. 

To facilitate this connection an outage is planned from 10:00am until 13:00 (approx.) and the areas affected are:

·       Convent Lane,

·       Dublin Street,

·       Drogheda Street,

·       Georges Hill,

·       High Street,

·       Hampton Cove,

·       Mill Street,

·       Quay Street,

·       Railway Street,

·       St. Paul’s Crescent,

·       And surrounding areas.

Fingal County Council and Irish Water regret any inconvenience caused by this disruption.
