83% now likely to "Look for Local" in Dublin

Research carried out on behalf of the Local Enterprise Offices as part of their “Look for Local” campaign has shown that 83% of Dublin consumers were now more likely to buy local, either online or in-store, this year, compared to 2019, as a result of recent campaigns to highlight local businesses.

First phase of wetland development works completed in Turvey Nature Park

Fingal County Council has just completed the first phase of a wetland development project in the Turvey Nature Park in Donabate. In this phase completed this year, an existing wetland area was extended and a new 2-acre wetland area was created. A new Sandmartin Hut was also installed which is the first of its kind in Ireland..

Another Major Clean Up Operation by Fingal County Council

Fingal County Council’s Environment Department undertook a significant waste clearance operation yesterday at St Mary’s, Cappagh Road in Finglas with a total of 145 tonnes of household and bulky waste, including construction and demolition material, removed from the site.
