Fingal County Council has launched a major campaign to encourage residents of the county to do their Christmas shopping in Fingal in order to protect local businesses and local jobs.

Fingal County Council has granted Part 8 planning permission for the Harry Reynolds Road Pedestrian and Cycle Route in Balbriggan which will provide safe, segregated cycling and pedestrian routes for residents and schoolchildren.

There is great news for rural areas in Fingal and Dublin with the final approval of €1.14 million in funding for 11 new projects.  The Dublin Rural LEADER Local Action Group (LAG) which oversees the LEADER programme in Rural Dublin approved the investment in projects at an online meeting recently

Irish Water working in partnership with Fingal County Council is constructing almost 1.5km of new watermain along the Brackenstown road in order to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in the area. The works are taking place along Brackenstown Road from the St. Cronans Avenue Junction to the Church Road junction in short sections to minimise impact on customers. Customers may be impacted by disruption to their supply on Thursday 12th from 8am to 5pm.

Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Fingal has announced an exciting new "Shop Fingal" initiative to promote local businesses in the run-up to Christmas. In partnership with Fingal Independent, LEO Fingal will provide paid advertisements for up to 120 businesses, helping them increase visibility while showing that they are open and available for trade.
