A Temporary Do not Swim Notice has been issued for Rush South Beach for 72hours. This is due to the risk of deterioration of water quality due to a sewage overflow emergency caused by pump failure. The overflow has now ceased.

A 100% waiver of commercial rates applies for a 6-month period from 27 March 2020 to 27 September 2020 to all ratepayers except a small number of categories. 

Please be advised that a temporary “Do Not Swim” Prohibition Notice has been erected at The Velvet Strand Portmarnock for 72 hours due to a stormwater overflow at a pumping station following heavy rainfall this morning.
