Closure of R121 Cruiserath Road from Corduff Road Roundabout to Alexion from September 14th to November 27th
The R121 Cruiserath Road will be closed from the Corduff Road Roundabout to the Roundabout on Church Road / Damastown Avenue from September 14 to November 27 2020.
Irish Water, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, is carrying out a major water network upgrade project along the R121 Cruiserath Road between the Ballycoolin roundabout (junction of Corduff Road and Ballycoolin Road) and the new Alexion facility. David Walsh Civil Engineering is working on behalf of Irish Water to deliver this project.
The proposed works involve the laying approx. 700m of a new watermain along the R121 Cruiserath Road from the Corduff Road Roundabout to the entrance on an existing pumping station beside the Alexion Facility (Blue Line on Drg. 80172-001 attached). This works commenced this week and Irish Water expects these works to last for approximately 13 weeks.
Irish Water would like to inform you that David Walsh Civil Engineering intends to close the R121 Cruiserath Road to facilitate these works from Monday 14th September 2020. The R121 Cruiserath Road will be closed from the Corduff Road Roundabout to the Roundabout on Church Road / Damastown Avenue. A one-way system will be in place for Eastbound traffic (heading towards City Centre), while Westbound traffic (heading for Damastown / Tyrrelstown) will be diverted onto the Corduff Road and back onto the R121 at the Hollystown Road roundabout (see Drg. Alexion Tm – 001 attached).
This one way system is expected to be in place up to the 27th November 2020.
