As part of the 2024 Creative Ireland Programme, Creative Fingal supported Sustainable Arts and Crafts Workshops, led by The Wizard of Creation Aga Hutcheson, in Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Balbriggan. These workshops have made a significant impact on the residents, their families, and the staff. Participants explored their creativity, which promoted positivity, provided motivation, and increased social interaction. The project concluded with a memorable trip to the nearby beach where residents, supported by care home staff, collected materials to create a communal piece of artwork. We are excited to share a video documenting this part of the project https://youtu.be/xsGQafbjhFQ.

Additionally, the staff of Balbriggan Library were delighted to host a very special launch of the artwork on Tuesday 13th of August. The artwork is now on display in the library for everyone to drop in and admire.
