Do not Swim Notice Lifted from Front Strand Balbriggan
Following a return to “excellent” status at Front Strand Balbriggan Beach in the results of laboratory analysis the issued Prohibition (Do not swim) notice has been lifted.
Please be advised that the temporary Do Not Swim notice issued on Saturday 29th August for Front Strand Balbriggan has been removed.
Results received today from bathing water sample taken on the 1st of September gave a return to “Excellent” status for water quality and this incident is now closed.
Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at www.beaches.ie or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
