Donabate traffic disruption

Fingal County Council would like to apologise for the traffic disruption this morning on the Portrane Road in Donabate which was caused by a malfunction of the radar-controlled traffic lights.

This traffic management is to facilitate ongoing construction works to tie-in the R126 Portrane Road with the new Donabate Distributor Road. In order to better manage the traffic disruption in the area, a manual stop go will now be put in place at peak hours at this location.

To facilitate the completion of necessary works for this tie-in, a further week of traffic management is required up to Friday, November 22.

Fingal County Council would like to thank commuters in the area for their patience while these necessary works are carried out.
