This referral only walking initiative is aimed at promoting mental health in partnership with the HSE Mental Health Services and Fingal County Council's Sports Office in the tranquil settings of Newbridge Demesne, Donabate.
The project is centred around engaging mental health service users in Balbriggan and Swords through light exercise activities and guided 2-3km walks within the serene and natural surroundings of Newbridge Demesne. Over the span of 10 weeks, participants will have the opportunity to take part in these activities under the thoughtful guidance of occupational therapists and an experienced physical activity tutor.
