Irish Water reschedule upcoming works in Dublin 15
Irish Water has rescheduled infrastructural works at Deerhaven Park, Littlepace, Dublin 15, which are planned for next week in order to minimise disruption to homes and businesses in the area.
The works were originally scheduled for Tuesday, 8 December, and Thursday, 10 December, between 8am and 8pm daily.
These works will now take place from 2pm on Tuesday, 8 December, to 2am on Wednesday, 9 December, and again from 2pm to 1pm on Thursday, 10 December.
While these works are ongoing customers in Dunboyne, Loughsallagh, Clonee, Stirling Road, Damastown, Littlepace, Williamstown, Allendale, Ongar, Mount Symon, Portersgate, Hartstown and Lohunda will experience a water outage.
These works are part of a national upgrade programme and will involve the construction of a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Chamber and other essential works off the existing pipeline which runs through Deerhaven Park. These chambers will allow significant water conservation and savings to be made in the Dublin 15 area as well as improved water pressure for residents.
Works will include the installation of key water infrastructure in the green area of Deerhaven. The park area will be fully reinstated following the works. All chambers will be made flush with the existing ground and no items will protrude over the ground.
The works are being carried out by Carty Contractors Limited on behalf of Irish Water and will last for approximately eight weeks.
