Excellent Bathing Water Quality Results from all latest samples collected 17th June, 2024

The bathing water monitoring results for samples collected on17th June, 2024 have been received.  All ten identified bathing waters have met the standard for “excellent” water quality.

The non-identified beach at Malahide (permanent red flag) has also met “excellent”.

The bathing water at Front Strand beach, Balbriggan only will be sampled on 24th June (results expected 26th June) and the next scheduled date for all ten bathing waters will be 1st July.

Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at www.beaches.ie or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
