Removal of Vegetation at Bremore Park Recreational Hub and Bath Road Car Park.

Some necessary vegetation removal works will commence on Monday 13th November 2023 at former Bell’s House entrance to Bremore Regional Park and Bath Road car park, Balbriggan. It is expected that these works will be completed within 2 weeks and are associated with the planned Bremore Regional Park development.

At Bell’s House the works will include removal of mature ornamental hedging & garden trees to provide a widened roadway along with walking/cycling access to the planned Bremore Regional Park Recreational Hub & sports facilities. At Bath Road car park, the pruning/removal of boundary vegetation is being undertaken to improve passive supervision and as part of planned car park improvement works.

The vegetation removal & pruning works are being timed to minimise disturbance to wildlife namely outside the bird nesting season. Please note traffic management controls may be in operation at the car park during work times as necessary however the car park will remain open for public use.
