Relove Fashion Competition

Revolve Fashion

Are your students interested in fashion or sustainability? Then the Relove Fashion Competition is for you!

Relove Fashion is a Sustainable Fashion competition open to young people of secondary school age across the Republic of Ireland. The competition was developed and is funded through a partnership between the Regional Waste Management Planning Offices, The Government of Ireland and the Rediscovery Centre, Ireland’s National Centre for the Circular Economy.

This trailblazing competition was developed in response to the devastating environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry, the need for change, and the recognition of young people’s pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions.

Elevate your classroom experience with the Relove Fashion competition, an exciting avenue for your students to embark on a journey of creative sustainability. Our competition, tailor-made for Irish Secondary Schools, empowers students to explore fashion production while fostering an understanding of its environmental impact.

Relove Workshop

Free online workshops to support participating schools

In a world of fast fashion, what is the true cost of our clothing? These online workshops will introduce students to the complexities of the global fashion industry and the impact it has on both our planet and people. As the industry is now confirmed as one of the world’s most significant contributors to climate change, how can we transition and make sustainable fashion attainable? As young consumers often feel overwhelmed as to how they can join the sustainable fashion movement, Circular Fashion Ireland will navigate students through the world of sustainable fashion, via reuse, repair, upcycling, sustainable brands, who to follow and how to avoid greenwashing.   Equipping students with the information to aid conscious consumerism thus reduces their clothing’s carbon footprint.   These workshops are specifically designed to aid both students and teachers in the planning, research, and development of their competition entry.
