Replay Instruments Project

Replay Instruments project

Do you have a musical instrument at home that’s gathering dust or in need of repair? Don’t throw it away! Drop it in one of Fingal’s Recycling Centres in Coolmine or Estuary Swords and as part of Fingal’s Replay Insturment Project, we will clean mend and redistrubute the instruments to schools and community groups.

We take any sort of instrument, accessories and small practice amps, cables etc. (We can’t accept pianos but we encourage you to contact your local voluntary sectors and offer any pianos to them).

This is an example of a circular economy project. A circular economy is an economic system aimed at eliminating waste and the continual use of resources. It contrasts with a traditional linear economy, which follows a 'take-make-dispose' model of production. In a circular economy, products and materials are designed, produced, and managed in a way that extends their life cycle, allowing them to be reused, refurbished, and recycled as much as possible. This approach reduces the strain on natural resources, minimizes environmental impact, and fosters sustainability by creating a closed-loop system where waste is transformed into valuable resources.
