Rewrite Music Programme

The Rewrite Music programme will support young music artists (aged 18 - 25 years old) to develop their own music practice with input from industry professionals.

An open call for young music artists was made by Rewrite from which 10 participants were shortlisted. Participants will take part in a song writing session with musician, Colm Quearney. The next step in the programme is music recording sessions with sound engineer Wes of Station Studios Balbriggan. This will be followed by music video sessions, with visual artist and filmmaker John Conway. Participants will then take part in a rehearsal for the launch party in the Irish Institute of Music and Song, Balbriggan. The finished piece of work will finally be showcased at a listening party/ music launch in the Irish Institute of Music and Song, Balbriggan on 19th May.
