The 2019 Fingal Festival of Fire is fast approaching with spooktacular events planned for Blanchardstown, Balbriggan and Swords on Thursday, Oct 31 as part of the Safer Halloween initiative.

Fingal County Council has lodged an application with An Bord Pleanala for planning consent for the Broadmeadow Way, a proposed new walking and cycling greenway route of approximately 6km in length between Malahide Demesne and Newbridge Demesne in Donabate.

 The Deputy Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Daniel Whooley, launched the second part of The Weather Stations for Schools project yesterday at the Rush and Lusk Educate Together National School when he presented Third Class with the first of the automatic weather stations that are being rolled out to primary schools across Fingal.

The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) initiative, now in its 15th year, will be hosted by founder and broadcaster Aine Kerr.
