Fingal County Council has agreed with Orchid Homes to deliver 18 new homes in Hampton Gardens Close, Balbriggan under the Affordable Housing Scheme.

Fingal County Council has announced that applications are set to open for the purchase of over 50 new homes in Hayestown, Rush under the Affordable Housing Scheme.

Under the Affordable Housing Fund, Fingal County Council will make homes available at a reduced price for buyers who are seeking to purchase a newly built home but need to bridge the gap between their mortgage and deposit to cover the full price of the home. It is proposed to deliver these homes on Council owned land and through advance purchases from Private Developers.

Construction of the new homes at Hayestown is already underway with all of the houses expected to be completed in 2024.

Fingal County Council’s Affordable Housing Scheme at Dun Emer in Lusk took a major step forward today when the first sod was turned on the construction site by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr David Healy; the Deputy Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Robert O’Donoghue; and the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien, TD.

Fingal County Council has appointed a developer to deliver the first affordable housing scheme in the county in 11 years at Dun Emer, Lusk.
