Swords

The next stage in the reconstruction of the Brackenstown Road (L2030) in Swords is due to start shortly as part of ongoing road strengthening works being carried out by Fingal County Council.

The Ward River Recreational Hub, Rathbeal Archaeological Park and the first phase of the Swords Regional Park have opened in the County capital town

Fingal County Council is delighted to announce that full planning permission has been granted to the R132 Connectivity Project by An Bord Pleanála.

Fingal County Council, in partnership with Fingal Dublin Chamber and An Garda Síochána, has launched an initiative in Swords that will allow members of the public to confidentially report incidents that might need Garda intervention.

The castle was built by the Archbishop of Dublin, John Comyn, around 1200, as a residence and administrative centre.

Some 24,000 people turned out to cheer on the Swords parade, which attracted over 3,000 participants.

Pavilions is north Dublin’s premier shopping centre with over 90 great shops, restaurants and a cinema.
