Fingal County Council has welcomed news that that five of its parks have received a prestigious Green Flag award for 2019.

Fingal County Council is moving forward with its first Affordable Housing Scheme, which is aimed at addressing some of the challenges faced by low-to-middle income earners in purchasing a property.

Construction has commenced on the Baldoyle to Portmarnock walking and cycling greenway project in North County Dublin. Murphy International was awarded this 2.5 million euro contract earlier this month by Fingal County Council.

A new report developed by Fingal Arts Office, along with three other arts offices, outlines the value and impact of local authority arts programmes and advises on what the sector can achieve and the measures required to support further success.  

Fingal County Council’s Heritage Office aims to address this by recording field names across the county. The Fingal Fieldnames Project is now in its second year.

Thousands of people enjoyed seven wonderful concerts at Malahide Castle in June, including a wonderful performance by George Ezra.

The Flavours of Fingal  was a huge success for the thousands of visitors who came to enjoy the entertainment, food, displays and events held throughout the weekend, showcasing the best of what Fingal has to offer when it comes to farming and food production and the feedback.

Fingal County Council’s Environmental Awareness section is pleased to announce that new categories have been introduced in 2019 Greener Communities Competition.

The Environment Section in Fingal County Council are currently involved in a number of anti-dumping campaigns to help raise awareness in relation to illegal dumping and illegal waste collectors (“Man in a Van”) which is a National Priority for 2019 under the Anti-Dumping initiative.
