Baldoyle

This Shared Island initiative is sponsored by the Irish government and funded by Creative Ireland through Fingal County Council. The project spans two years - 2024/25 - where we create and nurture connections with these choir members, North and South, through singing, music, poetry, shared creative learning and public performances in both communities. The project will include the commission of two new songs, inspired by all choir members, which will be performed on both sides of the border and captured in a shared memory book.  

Fingal Inclusion Week 2024 is an initiative led by Fingal County Council Community Development Office. This is the sixth year Fingal Inclusion Week has taken place in Fingal. Over 70 events will take place across the county of Fingal from Monday 11th November to Sunday 17th November. All Fingal Inclusion Week events are free to attend and open to everyone.

A cutting-edge facility designed to foster community spirit and enhance the quality of life for the residents of Baldoyle and the surrounding area has been unveiled by Fingal County Council.

Free English class given to all age goups and nationalties. Free tea and coffees.

Based on the 3 core strands of the primary school music curriculum, the Let’s Explore workshop will immerse children into the world of music Baldoyle Library 2pm-3pm.

Over 40 Crafts stalls with hundreds of Christmas gifts.  Santa Claus in his grotto. Sunday 4th December 10am - 4pm

€2 Entrance fee €5 for a Santa visit Music Tree lighting at 4.30pm followed by Free mulled wine at the lighthouse

The new My Open Library service at Baldoyle Library was officially launched by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Howard Mahony, on Monday 19th September.

Fingal County Council has received a fantastic response to its call for expressions of interest in its Choice Based Letting Scheme which was advertised  recently.

It’s an exciting time to be young in Fingal! The Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board has partnered with Fingal County Council and Music Generation to improve music education opportunities available to children and young people in the county.
