Fingal County Council is delighted to announce a number of events which will take place throughout Fingal during Heritage Week to celebrate Fingal’s heritage. National Heritage Week celebrates all things Heritage related and will start on Saturday August 17 and will run until August 25. It brings together communities and cultural institutions, academics and enthusiasts, to build awareness about the value of heritage and support its conservation.
Fingal County Council is delighted to work in conjunction with The Football Association of Ireland to announce the upcoming Aviva Soccer Sisters Summer camp. The 3 day camp takes place at Swords Celtic FC, Balheary, Swords from Wednesday 21st August to Friday 23rd August from 10.00am - 12.00pm each day and costs €25.
Fingal County Council has been shortlisted for eleven awards in the sixteenth annual Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards. The Awards, sponsored by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, are held to recognise and celebrate the outstanding work being carried out by Local Authorities all over Ireland.

More than 500 girls will descend on the AUL complex in Clonshaugh on Saturday 17th August for the 17th edition of the Fingal Festival of Football, which has in recent years become a fantastic promotion for girls’ football in Fingal.
