Families make the most of latest Let’s Play Rush Sports Day

The weekend saw another successful Let’s Play Rush gathering, the fifth event in the series under the EU URBACT project called Playful Paradigm. Many families gathered at Tayleur’s Point for a glorious day filled with sporting games and activities.

TY Football and Fitness Course

The only course of its kind in Ireland, the Football and Fitness course provides TY students across Fingal with the opportunity to meet their educational requirements whilst also developing a whole range of football, fitness and life skills.

The Course is a joint collaboration between Fingal County Council and the Football Association of Ireland.

FamilySearch, a new genealogical website is available at your local Fingal Library

We are pleased to announce that all ten Fingal Library branches, and our Local Studies department, are now FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries. This means that researchers will be able to access digitized images from FamilySearch collections, that would otherwise be restricted. This service is available for free, while onsite at your local Fingal Library.

Beach Workshops-Explore the Seashore

This August Fingal County Council Environmental Awareness Department is providing 8 workshops with Mona McCrea Marine Biologist of ‘Explore the Seashore’, which people can attend to learn about the beach system, litter, marine plastics, ecology and climate change.
