Mill Street to close next week for resurfacing works

The €15 million transformation of Balbriggan’s Quay Street and Harbour, part of the €54-€57million Our Balbriggan Rejuvenation Programme, will result in the temporary closure of Mill Street to vehicular traffic between 8am and 6pm from Monday, February 17, to Friday, February 21.

Fingal Inclusion Week 2024 is an initiative led by Fingal County Council Community Development Office. This is the sixth year Fingal Inclusion Week has taken place in Fingal. Over 70 events will take place across the county of Fingal from Monday 11th November to Sunday 17th November. All Fingal Inclusion Week events are free to attend and open to everyone.

Content with Form: A Two-part Poetry Workshop with Máighréad Medbh

Is the choice of subject matter or ‘content’ crucial to the effectiveness of a poem? If so, how do we distil experience to find its poetic essence? And then, how do we develop what John Cage called the ‘field of possibilities’ that will make the poem happen in its most appropriate form?
