Councillors voted to approve substantial funding grants of just over €260,000 to 218 community groups and projects in Fingal at the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council on Monday

Fingal County Council has commenced a series of live online information sessions with residents and business owners to brief them on the Coastal Flooding and Erosion Management Plan for Rogerstown Estuary.

Fingal Sports Office and enthusiastic participants were delighted that the Fingal and East Meath Pitch & Putt Championship was able to go ahead in 2020. Fingal County Council has urged residents in Portrane to cease placing material on the Burrow beach and on the seaward side of their properties after recent storm activity caused further coastal erosion in the area.

Fingal County Council is urging members of the public to stay away from the old public toilets and anchor foundation stone in Portrane and to avoid the dunes on Burrow Beach following further coastal erosion in the area this week due to Storm Ellen.
