What Lies Beneath 2018

Archaeology is everywhere, including the open spaces of housing estates and within our parks. The What Lies Beneath Geophysical Survey Project was undertaken across six sites in Fingal—Rosepark, Balrothery, Corduff Park, Dublin 15, Glebe, Swords, Chapel Farm Lusk, Lanestown, Newbridge Demesne and St. Catherine’s Park- to highlight the presence of sub-surface remains, literally on our doorsteps.

The results, which included the discovery of a new site at Lanestown were displayed in an exhibition in Blanchardstown Library and are detailed in the leaflet below.
