Youth Film Club

In partnership with Draiocht and multimedia experts CreateSchool, we offer young people the opportunity to participate in an eight week Filmmaking course beginning Tuesday 3rd of February and finishing on Tuesday 21st of April.

The course will focus on the technical aspects of filmmaking such as framing, lighting and editing; alongside the language of filmmaking, scripting, storyboarding and crew management. The goal is to make a film to a professional standard and screen it for an invited public on the last evening. There is potential to enter the film into a film festival at a later stage.

Time: Tuesdays 6.30pm-9pm

Age range: 14 years - 18 years

Admission: €2 per workshop
