Playing Pitches Condition Monitoring

Councils monitor the condition of playing pitches to assess if they are suitable for use and can declare them unplayable if weather conditions have caused them damage or if maintenance works such as drainage, topdressing, re-seeding or re-turfing are required to make them playable.

Pitches are inspected every Friday morning.
