Call to Dubliners to redouble effort to slow spread of COVID-19

The elected leaders of the four Dublin Local Authorities, the Health Service Executive and An Garda Síochána today issued a joint appeal to citizens to redouble their efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 and work together to get Dublin down to Level 1 in the Government’s National Framework for Living with COVID.

Council condemns removal of coastal erosion defences at Portrane

Fingal County Council condemns the removal of part of the coastal erosion defence system at Burrow Beach, Portrane, by unknown individuals over the weekend and is shocked at the reckless damage caused to the dune system in an environmentally sensitive location which is designated as a Special Protection Area.

500 participants in ‘Run Your Town’ initiative

Fingal County Council’s Sports Office in partnership with the Fingal Orienteers Club, the Irish Orienteering Association with support from Sport Ireland through Dormant accounts funding organised a very successful orienteering initiative called ‘Run Your Town’ which was launched during the European Week of Sport.
