FCC Cycle Bus Guidelines

Fingal County Council is committed to improving road safety throughout the County and to promoting and encouraging the use of sustainable travel modes (walking, cycling & public transport) for all road users for some of, or all of, their daily journeys. It is the vision of the Council that every child should be able to travel to school in a healthy, sustainable and safe way. This document provides information on how a school can set up a Cycle Bus and outlines how the setting up of a Cycle Bus can encourage pupils along a route to cycle to school together.

Current opening times (winter) are Saturday only from 9am to 4pm and it will be open on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve 2022 at those times.

An application to alter planning conditions associated with operating restrictions at Dublin Airport has been made by the airport authority to Fingal County Council’s Planning Department. In fulfilling its statutory remit, ANCA is now commencing an assessment of the noise situation at Dublin Airport.
